Those of you tuning in because you thought I'd be writing about my glorious 5k run will be disappointed. I didn't do the 5k this morning for an assortment of reasons.
I hear your "boos" and I heartily apologize, but it was for the best.
Instead, I'm going to tell you what I did yesterday afternoon: I bought some flowers, a new boxwood, and then spent a couple of hours outdoors planting / mowing. Woo hoo! The front of my house has a bit of color thanks to the hyacinth, geraniums, and coreopsis. I love coreopsis. Not sure I'll like the hyacinth, but it reminded me of T.S. Eliot's The Waste-Land, so ...
"They called me the hyacinth girl."
